Easter Time at Martin Dies Jr. St Pk, Jasper, Texas

This has been a very fun filled week at this park.  Lots of hiking and biking and even Geo-caching.  On Sunday (Easter) March 31st, we will definitely be driving north around 180 miles to our last Texas State Park (Daingerfield State Park).  We have really enjoyed our travels in Texas.

We are camped in Site #80. Which is hands down the prettiest site in the park.
The reservoir is covered with floating vegetation along the edge.  It is so thick "Misty" thought she could jump out on it and got a surprise.

Cabin and shelter sites.

Look at this Japanese Wisteria!!.  It grows everywhere in this section of Texas.

Here again is that floating vegetation.

Misty and I found this Geo cache (with the help of a GPS)

David also found a geo cache using a GPS for help!

"Slough" Trail - It was a 2 mile trail that we hiked and also biked.

Cute Easter display in the camping area.

The park had an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday

That's all for this week.  Let the travels continue North!
