Our week at Shiloh RV Park in Richmond, Tx.

Park Office

We picked Lot #3 for our 8 night stay.

Row of trailers in the park.

Picture of our trailer from the back of the lot.

Notice this trailer in the back.  Owner tried to tar his roof.  He even left the tar bucket on top.  I kid you not,  His pickup advertises that he is the owner of a roofing repair company,  What a Hoot!!
Misty meets the campground horse.

The following pictures were taken today Friday, March 15th at a State Campground Brazos Bend State Park about 15 miles away.

This is the flower of a Red Buckeye.  They are mostly shrubs here in Texas.

David and Misty at our picnic spot,

We hike the White Oak Trail.  Distance was 2.8 miles after getting lost a couple of times.

This State Park, Brazos Bend, was just beautiful with spring flowers blooming everywhere,  We were unable to stay here because of the closeness to Houston and Spring Break.  Better luck next time.  We will head east on Sunday and travel to Village Creek State Park in Lumberton, Texas about a distance of 125 miles.  Let the travels continue.....

  1. Hi guys! From the last couple stops, I can see why you like the State Parks. Although I did like that roof job at the last stop. You don't see that sort of thing just everywhere. Can't wait to see Lumberton. Let the travels continue!
