It was a very windy day during our hike. I had to hold the flower to get a picture |
We have been watching this Prickly Pear bud for a week. But we will not be able to see it bloom |
On this daily hike the wind blew up to 40 mph and there was not one fisherman on the lake. |
This is Nellie's Beauty Salon in Falcon Heights where I had my hair cut. She was extremely friendly. |
On Sunday, we will leave and drive 214 miles east to Port Aransas, Texas and stay for 7 days at our first private campground, It is supposed to be very close to the Gulf of Mexico. Until then let the travels continue.....
Well guys, the travels continue! Port Aransas! You should have some outstanding bird watching there. I would guess the northern migration is in full swing. There might also be some outstanding beach scenes with spring break bathing beauties!! Salt sea air and sun shine sounds almost as good as our wind and snow! 214 miles, quite a jump for you guys, it should give you a chance to blow the carbon out of the engine. Have a great time, can't wait for the new pics.
