Just Marking Time at Falcon State Park

We have decided to extend our stay at Falcon State Park until Sunday, March 3rd.  Here are some pictures of what we have been doing.

The park also had a bird feeding area.  Dave is entering the blind.

This is the Recreation Hall inside the park.  They have a laundry area inside that we have been using.

This is a picture of the Rio Grande River at another bird feeding area about eight miles from the park.  We were not impressed with the feeding area.

This picture is from the same location but you are now looking at Mexico.  Just wanted to show how narrow the river is here.

 

 

As for the rest of our time here we need to drive to Roma for groceries and we will visit Roma Bluffs a world birding center next.   The travels will continue...
